Four of us Sister Servants were privileged to go to New York for the Holy Father’s visit in April. We attended the Mass for priests and religious at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and the Sunday Mass at Yankee Stadium.

Sister Louise Marie was privileged to receive Holy Communion from the Holy Father!

We saw many of our friends amongst those in New York to see the Holy Father! While waiting to get through security for Yankee Stadium, we met Mother Gabriel's sister, Mother Assumpta, and the Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist.

Sister Louise Marie's father, who lost his wife two years ago, recently had the joy of wedding a lovely Austrian lady, and they were honored to be among those to bring the offertory gifts to the Holy Father. She greeted him in their Bavarian-Austrian dialect, and the Holy Father was very pleased!

Arrivederci, Holy Father! We love you!
